The Jakarta Composite Index (IHSG) closed 16.18 points, or 0.31 percent, higher at 5,282.31 on Wednesday, 28 October 2026. Trading volume reached 31.53 billion shares with a transaction value of Rp15.27 trillion. A total of 272 stocks rose, 406 fell and 112 were unchanged.
Sectors and stocks
Three sectors gained: healthcare (+1.71 percent), financials (+0.80 percent) and transportation (+0.31 percent). Eight sectors fell, with the steepest declines in infrastructure (−2.13 percent), energy (−1.33 percent) and cyclical consumer goods (−0.66 percent).
In the LQ45 index, the biggest gainers were ASII (+7.99 percent), BBCA (+7.65 percent) and AMMN (+3.72 percent). The biggest losers were ISAT (−6.82 percent), BRPT (−6.79 percent) and SCMA (−6.08 percent).
The previous day, Tuesday (27 October 2026), the index closed at 5,266.13 after falling 1.99 percent.
